I don´t understand why the best Scouting Director in the game, is not interested in being Scout Director anymore... Too old to make long trips grandpa?? Come on man....... Just say yes, we will pay accordingly. (Thanks Z for the heads up :))

He doesn't look like the only one.

Multiple Scouting Directors left their teams this off-season and are now wanting to be general managers. The only jobs, as of today, they say they will accept is as an assistant GM, which basically does nothing in our league. You could always sign said scout to be your assistant GM with the intentions of moving him to Scouting Director, but buyer beware, if they are refusing to sign to a position, I'm not sure they will move to there. And you would have to pay his contract.

Something to follow into the off-season.

My young hitting coach who was signed specifically because of his positive impact on Healey retired out of sheer embarrassment.

Check the player's history at the bottom of their HTML player profile page. It will say "received contract through arbitration"

Sully now owns championship rings from teams 38 years apart, a BLB record, and two franchises, also a BLB first.
