Good series. Our two Achilles heels both showed up.

We lost a pivotal game three with a double play ball in the 8th and blew game 6 with my manager's continued insistance on pitching Broughton one inning too many.
      What could have been...
GM California Kodiaks 2014 - Present
      Brewmaster's Cup Champions 2036, 2043

GM Edmonton Herd 1987 - Present
      Brewmaster's Bowl Champions - 1990

      GM Toronto Arenas 1979/80 - 1982/1983
      Brewmaster's Ice Cup Champions 1979/80

All this playoff talk is boring. Lets get back to offseason banter.
My closer will no longer negotiate with me. He's not asking for much at all, but my owner took $33M from me last season and it looks like my budget will be under $40M for next year.
Someone's going to get a pretty good arm for cheap.

Probably. It took a dramatic walk off, solo shot by Gosser for us to get past the Harmony and the Roadrunners in Game 1. I'm just hoping Dominguez is up to the task.

Its not as if the owner took money from you rather your in financial hell and the owner says you cannot make enough revenue so he gave you the new lesser budget.

Playoffs suck! Is it the offseason yet.

Honestly, for a first time playoff, not a bad showing. This will be a challenging offseason as I have a lot of guys that are arbitration eligible or that want long term deals.

Morla will get $200 million, then we'll see what everyone else wants. Thankfully the pitching staff is young and inexpensive... for now.

                          Good luck Toronto!

My owner blows. I've been trying to resign Bednarczyk all season and was told "No more money!".
But after this recent sim, I now have $30M to spend, but it's too late because Bedwetter says he no longer wants to negotiate.

It obviously sucks losing but Sully did a great job changing that franchise following the Yonke trade. Phoenix winning a championship in their first season is a nice story as well.

Looking towards next season, we've already declined Robertson's injury due to Tommy John. Everybody on our team is due for a massive raise through arbitration and we're going to have to figure out how we can keep the core together for a long time. First order of business is Dylan Owens will be eligible for a new deal this offseason. We'll see what we can do there. Crazy to think he's only 24.
