No matter what happens going forward, this past series will be viewed as the coming of age party for the burgeoning Baltimore star, CJ Stripling.
Stripling had a game one performance going 4 for 5 with a double and a home run which helped earn him an IL Playoff MVP Award before he's even legally allowed to drink. More importantly, the kid helped catapult us out of the wildcard round of the playoffs for the first time since 2006 when there was another outstanding rookie on the squad by the name of Terumoto Chiba. Yes, it has been that long.
It's crazy to think DJ Gosser's first inning, 3-run, 448 foot BOMB out to centerfield in Game 1 was the 2nd biggest story of the series for us.Last edited by Delandis; 06-10-2017, 01:21 AM.
