That's our only hope in the IL, guys. That these guys are actually human and do get tired eventually.

BTW, Villasenor is such a slacker.

3-3 with only a 1.7% chance of getting in. Burkhead got hot at the right time but ultimately we were unable to overcome losing Paliotta and Calvert. Our rotation just isn't deep enough. Hopefully Toronto and Cali rest some guys this week.

We're charging hard to the finish and we're playing about as well as any Philly team I've ever had this late in the season (prior playoff years we're normally limping into the postseason).

Bynum has been amazing, Evans is at peak form. Even Michie and Colovos are on the 'Who's hot" list. We don't score any runs, so we'll have to lean heavily on those guys in the final week.
Mike and I aren't talking right now because of that Bynum trade.

Pat Evans reaches the 20 win plateau for the 3rd time in his career. In most years he's having another Pale Ale caliber season, but there's a couple of guys putting together tremendous seasons elsewhere.

You give us far too much credit. We haven't even won the Stout - that's still up for grabs - and haven't done anything in the postseason in 7 years.

My strategy settings aren't really designed to make the starters throw a ton of innings. I can't change my manager's slider for when he hooks starters, but it's pretty much at the default setting. Those guys just don't seem to run into trouble very often so they stay in games.

Funclown is picking 3rd right now.

2-3. Just trying to avoid a 100 loss season. Think we will, but yeah our only enjoyment coming up is the new scouting report next sim.

After bitching all season we now have 3 hitters in the top 100. I agree on two of them. Not so much on the one guy.

I'm pretty anxious about this last sim. Phoenix playing against Denver works in our favor. Seattle has played us surprisingly tough this year, and we're only 8-7 against them. I wouldn't be surprised if they ruined this for us.

This guy has pitched his heart out this year and our lineup has left him high and dry over and over. 10 different times this season he's pitched 7 or more innings while giving up 2 or less runs and failed to pick up a win. He's been on the mound 3 different times when we got shutout, and another 6 times when we've only scored 1 run.

After missing the playoffs last season, I'm considering this season a success whether we're a wild card team or the division champs. I'd love to win it, but considering Phoenix was pretty much in 1st for the first four months straight I'm pretty happy that we're where we are. For the first time we've been able to score runs and not give up runs. If it weren't for Washington, I'd call our defense and pitching dominant. We've given up 40 runs less than the next closest team. We're number 1 or 2 in every pitching statistic and 1st in defensive proficiency. Washington is just on another level this year.

It's really a testament to the strength of Toronto's hitting that they're going to win the Ale division with the Domestic League's fifth-worst rotation by ERA.

We rested some players last week and it cost us a 2 game lead. We should still be able to hold on but we're going to put the regular guys back in for the final week. BLB playoffs this weekend? Sign me up...been anxiously awaiting them since the start of the year! How times have changed for this franchise.
