Well there's still some fight left in the group. As of now we're somehow holding onto the final playoff spot. Could be a dangerous matchup if we squeak in but I expect to lose the hold this sim. Our PYT says we should be better, I agree. Lots of talent here.

Were gonna minimize some arms for this sim. Lots of RHSP and LHSP and we'll see if we can't make the games go 3:30 and slow everything down. Staff wise we're going to go 4 man from here on out. Thank god Ian Lofink has been so steady the last two months, I was genuinely concerned that he just sucked.

Bullpen wise we're going to ride the heck out of Tom Murray. What a fucking specimen he is. 145 Ks in 85 innings this season. I'm looking forward to converting him to a starter and building the staff around Murray and Sepulveda moving forward.

Finally, it was so cute to see a couple people mention how Jamie O'Hearn would fall short of winning the Stout Slugger again. Sure, he might fall short again, but he continues to be arguably the most dominant player in the game. .304/.371/.593 41 HR 110 RBI

And this month, he's batting .459/.507/.869/1.376 .... clearly he wants two more games in the playoffs to lose.

    well see how it goes.

There are some really special hitting seasons in the Domestic League this year.

While Yonke should run away with the Import League Stout Slugger, the Domestic League is home to several deserving candidates.

4-2 and we stay tied with Washington atop the IL. We we able to hold serve winning 2 of 3 at home versus Washington and 2 of 3 in The Big Apple.

-I know the award is going to deservedly go to Mr. Yonke, I can't say enough about the steady offensive play by 1B DJ Gosser this year. He's already hit his 4th 30+ HR season of his 5 year career and just keeps being a steady presence in our lineup.

-I'm really happy for veteran catcher, Willie Lara. At 35, the Minnesota native is proving he's still top of the class of catchers in a lot of offensive and defensive categories and one of the most cost efficient players on my team. I doubt he has this same output next year, so we've got to do all we can to give him another chance of at that elusive ring.

Next week is going to be crucial as we need a good week to keep up with Washington. We play two at Philly then follow with a 5 game home stand with 2 vs. Carolina and 3 more hosting New York. If we hold up our end, we at least give ourselves a chance in the final week.

I'm also looking forward the "new" awards' voting system. Kind of intriguing not to know who gets picked.

For the record is it too much work to set up the utility to vote just for gits and shiggles?

99.9% of play-off chances for Dallas at this point... Don't screw them up guys...

It's been a struggle to keep up with all the WC losing tons of games in Montreal, Los Angeles and Indy... Salazar, Moore and Williams are picking things up... Hopefully we will be respectable during play-off time, with almost all the 25 man having a Ring and loads of experience in their bats...
