Enjoying the final days of C Dave Piekarski career in Pawtucket. He will take his 11 million buyout and go but until then 13 seasons on the very team that has the slogan "You will not finish your career in PAWTUCKET" over the locker room is pretty amazing. Getting sentimental in my old age.

Looking a bit ahead to the draft and feels like a bit of a pitchers draft though I do see some OFers and even a 2B or two to keep an eye on.

Overall a new new generation of pitchers will be up next season to go along with Brendan Watts near the top & Jamie Coffman manning the rear.

As for the hitters 3B/1B Johnny Schara appears ready, but we will wait for spring training to give him a long look. Same also goes 2B R.J. McGlashing (NEED TO PLAY BETTER D). LF Dave Trausch will also get a spring training look but he feels like another season away.

I keep saying see you in 2023 and maybe its optimistic , but feel like were on the right path. Might even start making some moves with some extra draft in the second round if a good deal pops up. Never believe drafting alone can win a championship. Always feel like you need 2-3 vets in the club house. Time will tell.

            Oh Pawtucket 2-4 this week.

I knew this rebuild had to be an expedient one because of KC but they've decided to pull an Astros and start being good before everyone thought

Well not a great sim- losing that series to Philly wasn't ideal. The race for the last two wildcard spots in the IL is going to be crazy. Ian Daley comes off of the DL this sim so my starting rotation gets a needed boost. I'll probably go to a 5-man for the last couple of sims but I want to hopefully ease him back in.

Welcome to the season Jamie Williams! Did you sleep properly?? I hope you had a good rest and you can help us the rest of the way! By the way, do you know if Salazar and Moore are going to wake up as well??

                  We love 4-2 Weeks.

JJ he's on year 5. This is about the time most teams will come up.(even real life Cubs and Astros) How long did you think year after year top 5 picks would take to go along with shrewd trade for additional draft picks??

I mean I wasn't taking shots I was just saying I figured their arc of success would begin once Cawley and company were on the team.

                        Got it.

Yeah I for some reason was looking at his team as stated earler. Gonna be a handful coming up. With the new salary structure wonder if his revenue will catch up in time when the they start demanding more money.

Pitchers continue to carry our bats. With the injury to Rizer, Tom McGee was put back to his original first base spot and went beast mode this week with 4 home runs and 11 RBI. He can't field worth a crap, but it'd be worth it, if he keeps hitting like that. Perhaps then Morla will get off the schnide.

Man I'm broke. And the worse part is somehow Stark and Baisden have player options instead of team. No idea how I let that slip. We had a good run the last decade. Just never got lucky to win it all.

Meanwhile Baltimore has money to burn and signs 2 guys entering into the league and skyrockets to first!

Is there something in particular you do to generate that much revenue though?

You're at $145 million in revenue already.

Washington and Dallas are $7-10 million behind.

Then my club and everyone else at least $20 million back.

Meanwhile you're only 12th in total expenses.

                                It's incredible.
