Kendrick should be better, I thought Lanoie might be an allstar, Van Gorder is a cancer in this personality system, and Stough went from possible mid rotation starter to solid reliever, to who knows what with a 9+ ERA.

I took a risk and it didn't bite me but it certainly wasn't a homerun. More like a bloop single.

In fact, I'd say Lanoie and Stough sucking are part of the reason I'm where I am right now. Bad and bored.
Thats unfortunate that you're bored... This league doesn't run without the 2/3 of owners that don't make the playoffs. A 1/2 season out of it in twenty years with twenty picks coming should be exciting... Not looking to argue, but I think you're in a spot that I found to be challenging and quite exciting during the game. Granted, it's all I've ever known.

Any game I've ever played, has always been more fun when it is difficult rather than when the outcome is guaranteed.

If I was sitting here with 3 titles (honestly just one) I'd tend to agree with you. Chasing playoffs and titles was the fun on the game side of this. If I hadn't been here so long and like talking to everyone I'd of walked away about 5 seasons ago already.

I'd probably have to say making all those playoffs and having no rings was always enough of the challenge...

Losing a ton of games and hoarding prospects and top draft picks isn't really entertainment to me. Different view I guess of what someone enjoys. I have no idea how Spear, Carlos, funclown and Jistic did/do it.

It'll be a challenge for sure just not the type I particularly enjoy. I've already done it twice from rock bottom but they took 2-3 seasons each not 5-10. I never really liked tinkering in my minor leagues all that much. I know Pat and Z love it. To each their own.

I'll be around but just not much to do or talk about for long stretches when you're bottomed out. I'll give those guys credit for keeping interested and sticking it out.
