Nice sim for us- hopefully we can keep it up as people come off the DL. Taking a bit of a gamble but rolling with the traditional 5 man rotation for now.

Ron Osborn you talented bum, please start winning more games. Ian Daley comes off the DL in September so will be around for the stretch run. Having the extra roster space in September will be helpful.

But my god, is he the worst base stealer I've ever seen.

At UCLA, he stole six bases in 11 attempts. That's a really bad rate. It only gets worse from there.

At single-A Barre, he stole four bases in ten attempts.

At double-A Bar Harbor, he nabbed six bases in 18 tries.

And at triple-A Portsmouth, he stole successfully three times in 15 attempts.

He has seven speed and supposedly rates a five at stealing bases ... but I don't see how.
I've got 3B Pat Femrite who has a similar skill set, blazing speed but can't steal a base to save his life. We probably can just chalk it up to their base stealing ratings are just barely above 500 on the scale.

The beauty of a relatively, ambiguous 2-8 scale.

I neglected to mention it last sim, but I want the written record to show that Indianapolis SS Ian Schneider is an enemy of Maine after injuring Brendan Kelsey with a reckless slide into second base.

            The BLB needs more rivalries.

I'm sure Seattle will have a few if I ever dig out of this hole.

We're just too dang lovable here in DC to have any real rivals.

Wait until you win the Brew.

Look what happened to Shark. His players don't even like him.

On a related note, did you see that Dallas already has a payroll of $141.2 million ... for the 2026 season?

He has 6 BLB players on, what some might call, "max deals." He wanted to keep that championship core together, which I do understand.

Maybe his players do like him.
