We lost Ratley for the next two sims, so we needed somebody to step up and be our power hitter.
When Marrero is on the field, he is a special talent. Do your best to keep him healthy and he could big for you down the stretch and in the playoffs.

Pawtucket has tried to stay "competitive" while attempting to weather this money issue. Just don't have the weapons right now. No way to call out "TANK" when you simply don't have the money to compete.

Ernie Lucas is going on waivers.
If anyone is interested in him, but is worried a lower-seeded team will get that drop on you, holla at me.
        All offers will be considered.

This is not what we wanted in August. But this looks like the typical rookie dog days of summer.

We have a lot of rookies in our lineup and it's showing.

It's about the future. If we can pop into the playoffs, awesome.

We lost our first six games in the month of July. Since then, we're 26-8. #LavaHot

A great 1-6 SIM. 4-11 this month and back to .500. It was a good run.

Batavia has had a winning season every year since 2003.

                  That's 18 seasons above .500 in a row.

Who else has accomplished this feat?

Answer: I believe no one. D.C. is closest having 21 seasons in a row .500 or better, but during the 9th season they went 81-81.

I believe it's the best consecutive streak.

Although to toot my own horn for a moment, I'll point out that Maine has at least 83 wins every season but one going back to 1999.

Hell, we've been above .500 every year but three in the franchise's whole history.

D.C. has had a .500 record every year since league inception except for three seasons and has never finished worst than 3rd in their division.

Didn't Maine win like 4 cups in the first decade of the BLB??

Lost Corr for the rest of the season, which is a huge bummer as he was finally coming into his own the last month and a half. At this point I think I'm just gonna say fuck it with regards to offense and play some Weaverball.

Blew it up after I realized I couldn't beat Virginia.
I had something like fifteen 1st and 2nd round picks over 4 seasons at the turn of the century. It turned into a great decade and a half run.
