Posted this question in the Beta forum so hopefully I'll get an answer. I know player development isn't an exact science in the game so a players performance can help and hurt his development, but they don't always correlate.

I've been wondering about this too. I can't figure it out in this league or any of my single player franchises. I think one of my picks this year went down before he even played a minor league game.
