    Pawtucket 5-1.

We had an oops previous week with our rotation (Didn't export), ran a 4 man rotation and JJ ran off a sweep. Its happens. Were a try hard team not an actual contender at the moment. Better week.

Half way decent July considering and a decent scouting report. Just being patient until a certain legendary catcher drops off our payroll. Again, see ya in 2023.

4-2 and we just squeak in another winning month going 13-12, in July. We were able to keep Fred Fredrick under wraps for 2 of the 3 games against Batavia and we of course, lost to future HOF, Pat Evans in Philly.

Now no offense to OF Jaime Hayden (DAV) who won July's ROM, but OF Eli Fernandez went .395/.435/1.225 with 17 hits, 4 home runs, and 14 RBI. I expected the kid to eventually turn on the style, but I was thinking more like September or even 2022. He's now played his way into an everyday starter on the road, outplaying every veteran outfielder on the team.

RP Tom "The Artist" Monk is having the best season of his BLB career. Monk leads all relievers in ERA (1.41), OAVG (0.130) and WHIP (0.70). This past July, he gave 0 ER, just 3 hits and 2 walks to go along with his 16 strikeouts in 13.2 IP. I've had multiple chances to move Monk for very good offers over the years, but I'm glad we've kept him around.

We are just 2 games back of Washington and with a strong performance in August, we may be able make things interesting at the top of the Stout come September.

3-4 shit against teams below .500 is not acceptable. This team is rubbish, don't you want to make history in the BLB? Then start doing something...

Specially disapointed with Williams, Salazar and Moore, all got paid last year, all are doing bullshit this year. Wake up guys, last call.

A heck of a week for pitchers.

Dave Koehler (WAS) and Jimmy Ballard (NYK) threw no-hitters on back-to-back days.

Kansas City received complete game shutouts from both Jimmy Burkhead and Dave Hall.

Pat Evans threw a complete game shutout on Monday to beat New York and earn his 200th career win. Then he went out again on Saturday and threw seven shutout innings to beat Baltimore. His 16 shutout innings earned him the Import League Player of the Week honors over the two no-no tossers.

I know not everyone favors weighing defense or positional value when it comes to Stout Slugger voting, but Izzy Rivera really should receive serious consideration.

The Guides third baseman leads the Domestic League in WAR, owns a .324 batting average, and ranks fifth in total bases.

For those who like more traditional baseball statistics, Rivera leads the entire BLB in runs batted in.

Plus he plays terrific defense at third base.
