2021 Regular Season SIM 15 Complete - Next SIM Thursday 5/18
I didn't have any issues with my pitchers going in the All-Star game. Koehler is the only one who pitched, and he didn't have a start this week in our real games.
I would, however, like a word with my manager for bringing Villasenor in relief on Friday to finish the game and then starting him on Saturday. I know the first game went 16 innings, but sometimes I just have to shake my head.
Anyway, we won 3 of 4 in Windy City to finally beat them. Runs were at a premium in our series, to say the least. 13 runs between us in the 4 game series. Carroll was brilliant, Honea won #15. Pretty much every pitcher did well, even Villasenor pitched great despite my manager's efforts.
Not sure; I've never seen an issue with pitcher usage in an All-Star game before.
It's really weird. The pitching stats shown in the box score don't even come close to matching the number of runs scored in the game or hits allowed for either team. The line score at the top and the stats don't match up.
When I go to Honea and Michell's player profiles, it shows that they pitched in the game but they don't show up in the box score or game log.
My hitters also have two different entries for the ASG in their game logs.

yea i did notice that when I went in "watch" the game, the score was like 8-4 at the start of the game.
2-2 split with Seattle which drops us another game back of Washington. We are 5-8 in July but I've seen a few things this past sim that gives me hope that we can make a little run soon.
Despite our struggles in July, we have had a couple of very encouraging performances by a pair of rookies. 22 year old 3B Pat Femrite is hitting .478 in July while rookie OF Eli Fernandez is hitting .400 for the month. It is encouraging to see these guys turn it up a bit in the absence of Stripling. The future outfield of Stripling, Fernandez and Whaley could end up being something special in Baltimore in a few years.
While SP Willie Fajardo, SP Alex Dominguez and SP Jerro Blick all make the headlines about their superb play, none of those three lead Baltimore in ERA. That mantle actually belongs to SP Zack Cook who threw 8 innings of shutout ball in our 2-1 win over Seattle last week. Zack was obtained in the trade that sent future HOF catcher, Abraham Santana to Pittsburgh and has quietly become one of my personal favorite players.
We've been inconsistent since the big trade but things are starting to move in the right direction. All 3 newcomers have performed well and Jackson, Viger and Corbett all joined the top players list in the last few sims. Just need to add some pitching.
