That could be a matter of people moving them to their 40 man this sim. I had 1 guy to take, but Hyundai put him on his 40 man....

Actually this website shows there status before this sim. In Houck's case he is on Morgantown's active roster but not his 40-man roster.

Best I can tell, Altahirano and Houck were not eligible to be drafted.

I hope not... Houck was on my active roster, plus he had a Major contract, so I thought he was safe. By looking at my roster I thought I only had scrubs that would be available in the rule 5, not my starting catcher... damn.

Yes, Houck was on Morgantown's active roster meaning he should have also been on the 40 man roster. This usually happens when I manually move players to a team (waivers and waiver trades). I'll try to make sure they are added to the 40 man when I do so from now on.

Linty - Did you not think it was strange that he was on the Rule 5 list? Seems like someone would have noticed that a guy on an active roster was on the Rule 5 list and mentioned it.
