Thanks for running the sim, Brad. Good work.

Another pitcher goes on the shelf for Maine. Brutal. Eight players on our BLB disabled list now.

That'll do, pitching staff. That'll do just fine.

My bad on not being so active recently.

However, I'm only 2 back from the Wild Card. The fuck?

A 6-1 week for the Bats sends us back to first place in the division and on the Power Rankings. The highlight of the week was a sweep in Baltimore to regain the top spot. Nobody else is giving us much help against them, so these head to head games could be the difference.

It was all about our pitching this week. Our lineup was in a funk all week, but it didn't matter. In the 6 games we won, we gave up a combined 2 runs. We gave up 5 in the other, so it was a 0.95 team ERA for the week. We started the week with 3 shutouts and added another against Baltimore, bringing us to a BLB leading 18 shutouts thrown so far this season. Our starters' ERA sits at 2.00.

At the plate, it was pretty ugly. Geoff Yonke did his normal thing, but the rest of the guys took the week off. Hopefully Danny Gomez can be a spark.

We've had some rookie debuts in DC the past couple of sims. Prized FA signing Ivan Sepulveda came up last week and has had 2 solid starts, including 7.1 shutout innings in an emergency start against Baltimore. Highly ranked Al Mott came up this sim and was dreadfully bad. I also brought up Micah Garlick to take over backup catcher duties. I'm looking forward to seeing what these guys can do.

Some minor bad news. Ed Carroll picked up an injury, but without only 5 more days left on it he won't be heading to the DL. Seth Herrington also has a minor injury but won't need to see the DL. Urmson is out for another week and a half.

We head home this coming week for 3 against Batavia before Baltimore comes to town looking to return the favor in our stadium.

3-4 week is our most wins in a sim since April.

Re-signed OF Asiku to a four-year deal. Still might trade him but didn't want him to tell me "I'm going to test FA" before it was too late.

Going to make some changes from the top down. Two rookies acquired via trade, If Edwin Reta and OF ion Williams will make their BLB debuts this week.

Bad two week stretch for Pawtucket. Probably make some tweaks with the lineup, but I guess so goes Amir Nelson so goes Pawtucket?? (We've been awful since he got hurt, no idea why) Were just so limited until we clear this whole money issue up. Even if I wanted to trade for someone we really can't. Hands tied. Like we've been saying see you in 2023.....

In the minors just lost a prospect for 11 months. Ouch. Its common though with starting pitching to lose a prospect or two. Part of the process. Flashback: we had Talley , Mcdade and 'Beanpole' all in our farm and the game chose 'Beanpole' to take the injuries. Funny thing is once he was traded he never really got hurt again. Crazy.

Overall draft results, we had a second and third rounder join our organizations top 20 and overall we moved to #7 system in baseball. We drafted a couple of closers also this year so not sure they will ever show up. Still we feel optimistic on least one of them might hit. Think this might be a little broken how the new game rates prospects, but guess we at least have things working in our minors.

5-1 week and Vasicek comes in at #76. Best sim of the year but we are dead in the water. A couple big moves on the horizon off my trade block possibly. I'll be getting back to PMs tonight and returning some offers.

Can someone explain how this works? He's got 0 days left on DL, 6 days left on injury. What do you guys normally do with players like this? I don't want him on the active roster for 6 days being unproductive, but I don't want to keep him on the DL an additional week. AND, I don't want to get Roster Fixed.

You're not obligated to remove him from the disabled list. You can keep him there until the injury heals in a week.

Ok cool. What if his "INJ Time left" says "None" also? does he get automatically put on the active?

No. You move him when you are ready to.
