I'm spending more time on morale than baseball in OOTP these days and it's a drag. After firing my manager, demoting or cutting my best guesses at who is selfish, I'll add super high leader Pat Steffen to my bullpen. He'll post an ERA of 6 but I don't really know if there is a solution outside of winning and we can't win because my inbox is full of morale negatively impacting performance emails.

Obviously I'm not a big fan of this new version of the game.

Moral isn't as bad in Pawtucket(its not great either), but we don't really care how pissy the players get. Lol, Dave Graffing will keep the ship afloat!!! Whats up with closer Pat Romar anyway?? No idea why is pitching so well.

Move to 10th for top farm system, were fighting hard and were not in last. Maine.....your next.

I'm trying really hard to compete here but I'm not sure if this morale hole I'm in is even fixable. Do the (any) boards or other leagues mention anything anywhere about this aspect of the game?

Do you have alot of "desire for winning" at high?? I noticed this version I see alot of "too many slackers on the team" Like how many is too many?? 3? 4??. How many leader are needed? Also in the minors i've seen "wants to be with players his age" WTF!!!! Is that real?? What killed me on this was it was an 18 year old punk with basically 17 year olds and 19 just NO 18. So really??

Moral might of been over tweeked in this version. And maybe its effects are more surface deep?? (ex: SP J.D. Robillard has been unhappy forever yet he's been hot for two straight sims?? So... does it matter??)

Three different Guides infielders have now appeared on the Top Players list this year. That's a first for us.

Millers are really hot. Danny Garcia is mashing... .288/.362/.565/.927 with 13 dingers on pace for 38, and since going 0-15 the first week of the season, he's hit .309/.372/..606/.978 ....O'Hearn on pace for 52 HR and 122 RBI...the lineup is clicking...and the pitching is coming around. Knocking on the door is 3B Joey Cook...he's mashing in AAA ..321/.394/.547 and is showing that he's ready to be called up. When he is, he's going to be all over the place, and I'll be platooning Seibert at SS against LHP so he can play 3B. We started slow, but we've really caught fire the last two weeks....lets see if they can keep it up.

A good week for the Bats as we go 5-1 and push back up to #1 on the Power Rankings. It didn't gain me much breathing room since Baltimore simply won't lose, but I'll take it. We're pretty much 1/3 of the way through the season, and I think this may be the best start any of my teams has gotten off to.

Ed Carroll is good right now. A shutout of the Tobs this week drops the ERA under 1. It hasn't been enough to snag a Pitcher of the Month trophy - Villasenor got it in April and now Koehler got it for May. Dropkick has been complete death to lefties this year.

At the plate, Yonke is hot, hitting over .400 this week. Moody joined him, hitting .450.

The only negative this week was the one loss to Davenport, when our offense didn't get going and we lost 2-1 after blowing a lead in the 8th.

Got my 5th email from a player saying he hates it here. My bench coach gave me an update and said the chemistry sucks.

                        3-4 week though.
