      Interesting stuff.
When I drafted Ernie Lucas he only had defensive ratings for LF and RF. And not great ratings either.
I noticed he had decent defensive IF ratings though so I thought, what the heck, and tried him at 1B where he's gone from having no rating to a 6.
He's struggled a bit this year and I eventually had him platooning with Dave Bound.
I haven't had much luck with SS as both Newkirk and Waigand haven't done jack squat for me so this week I again decided, what the heck and made some alterations.
I moved Douglas to SS and Lucas to 2B.
In only one sim, Lucas now has a 2 rating at 2B.
Who knows, maybe he can become a manageable second basemen until I get an everyday SS who can hit.

We will take it. Team is coasting along this month. We had a similar May in 2020 and that turned out okay.

Hopefully, the offense will gear up a bit (notably Healey, Pelloni and Banuelos) and we will see the team average jump, more balls in play, rising extra base hits, and more runs.

The pitching has been exactly what I expected and it's solid. Outside of Jimenez getting closer and closer to getting his release papers, everyone is performing.

Pawtucket 3-4. It is what it is. On the plus side we now have 5 top minor league pitchers??

Is it June 15th yet? I should probably fire my manager while I'm waiting.

On top of the Power Rankings for the first time... and with only one player in the top 20 and no pitchers... Hopefully the boys can keep it together.

Terrible. Bullpen can't hold a lead. Baltimore will run away with this soon.

Didn't export even though I spent a ton of time making changes and to top it off Boyd is out for 3 months. I wish I could say that this is the worst sim we've had in a while, but it's really not. The game thinks I'm a Poor GM, and I tend to agree.

4-2 on the road against the best in the Bock, so I'm very happy. Only one back of the Bats now, we've made this a nice little early race for the Stout.

We win our 3rd consecutive IL POW but this time, it is Mr. Gosser. He has a monster year so far and he's proving that he's worth the cash he's asking for.

On the downside, we've lost Perkins for a month, so I'll expect a bit of a offensive drop for a few weeks.
