      Thanks Brad!
I didn't think I had anyone DFA, but I'll make sure that doesn't happen again.

2-5 week, but could have been 5-2 if Bednarczyk hadn't crapped the bed.
I couldn't help myself so I called Khali Corey up. Did pretty good in his first taste of BLB action going 5 innings with only 3 hits allowed and no runs scored.

Well, I don't think I'm going to recover here. I think I made some mistakes building this roster and misread some of the mechanics in OOTP 17 and I'm paying for it this season.

I updated my block and I am open to pretty much any changes. If you're interested in anyone just let me know. Prices will vary depending on talent/age obviously.

A 5-1 week propels us to the top of the Power Rankings, however it does not gain us any breathing room in the Stout.

Our pitching is still very good, as only Villasenor had any issues this week. Carroll and Mitchell were dominant against Seattle and Koehler had a couple nice starts.

Bad news for the week is Jamie Urmson going down for 2 weeks. I knew I'd have probably have to deal with him getting injured so thankfully it's not worse than that. I think I've got enough depth to handle it, but I'll need Roseboom to slide back over to CF and someone else to pick up his slack - Urmson had been hitting very well.

We start 9 game road trip coming up, with 3 at Davenport followed by 3 at Denver.

Yuck, a 2-4 week for the Brawlers. Started out with two straight wins against Carolina but lost the 3rd game of the series and then 3 straight to Baltimore. With Baltimore and Batavia coming to town it doesn't look to get any better.

Another strong week for the Kodiaks. Moral is in the midst of one of his patented homerless spells, but our team batting average is 0.307 and our OBP is 0.366. Those two figures seem to be making up for the paltry 31 home runs that we've hit. Our bullpen is also continuing to carry the weight of the pitching staff. In a word, our starters have been horrible. Locking up Contreras on the cheap (he wanted $10 million in the previous version) is looking like a huge waste of $5 million a year.

Our young kids continue to play extremely well. I'm not sure how I'll pay them all in the future, but hopefully that figures itself out.

5-1 is only good enough to keep pace with Washington but I'll take it.

Our pitching stumbled a bit posting a 3.50 ERA for the week, but our hitting more than made up for it. As a team, we OPS'd over 1.000 with a lot of guys having very good performances at the plate. Particularly, Willie Lara had a good enough week to earn our second consecutive IL POW.

Next weekwill be a real litmus test, going on the road to face Denver and Phoenix. Playing these two top IL teams, I'd be satisfied with a 3-3 week, but happy with a 4-2 week.

Last three picks were top three on my board. Also highly considered at 2.9.
