  • Last two picks were high on my list and interesting prospects:

C Normington has been stuck on the DL for the past two seasons despite being healthy. My scout likes him a lot more than OSA does and I think there is a chance he proves himself.

RP Saldana is 7'1! Hits 100MPH on the gun! And sounds like a real piece of work personality-wise.

    Seattle Pilots- 2017-2041
    Washington Bats - 1979-2013

    • Draft clock is back at 4 hrs for some reason.

Seattle selects, CF Dave Loehner at 5.1 - He's been Top 5 on my draft board since 3.1 - Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

      6.1, 7.1, 8.1, 9.1 and 10.1 all available for a future pick or picks.

At the very least, even if flames out as a prospect, good guy to throw on the mound in Game #162 just for story-sake.

Indeed, he must be the tallest guy playing in the BLB ever!

The good thing is that his BABIP is over .400 during his whole stay in College... Let´s see what happens when you put a real team around him...

              • ROFL, it took the 2nd player from my list instead of the top one on list pick?

I've never seen that happen in the history of the utility and 40+ drafts. What pick?

Has anyone else seen this or had this happen? It's kinda a deal. My list worked fine.

                        Never had this issue.

Who was on top of your list?

I guess what I'm really asking is: are you sure the player on the top of your list wasn't picked and you hadn't refreshed your page/screen?

                          • Mostly I'm loading up on arms. Between the lack of undrafted starting pitchers lately and the (lack of) quality of the position players in this draft, I felt like it's the way for me to go.

                            • Some thoughts on the guys I've drafted. I'm pretty underwhelmed by this draft and I didn't pick until #51, so my excitement is fairly limited here.

2.25 - SS Kazufumi Fujii - What I like - My scout thinks Fujii can be a pretty solid player. He should be a good fielder anywhere in the infield and is really fast on the basepaths (32/36 on stolen base attempts in his career). This season he's hit .319 and is listed as the #3 player in the Cape league, though as others have mentioned those rankings seem a little strange. Not sure he's going to hit, but if he does he could be solid.

3.25 - CF Orlando Diaz - I don't usually pick guys who've struggled like Diaz has in the feeder league, but he was easily the highest ranked player left on my scout's list when this pick came up. Like Fujii, he looks good in the field and on the basepaths, but he hasn't hit much at all at the NCAA level. Still, my scout says he can do better, OSA has him with all 5's and his personality ratings are pretty good.

5.3 - RP Pat Cousins - OSA 4-6-6, 7 endurance. My scout is more optimistic about his control and hopefully he'll get a velocity boost that will increase his stuff. If so, maybe he can start at some point. Has put up okay ERA's in our high school league.

5.25 - SP Pat Fisher - Another 5th round pick named Pat. Has had a solid year at the NCAA level, OSA gives him a 5-6-5. I wanted to add a pitcher, hopefully he can make it as a back of the rotation guy if I'm lucky.

                              • I'm a big fan of all four of your picks. Fuji and Fisher were #1 on my board when you selected while Cousins and Dias were both top 10.
