I think there's a bug with certain browsers.
If you sort on a category, you won't be able to add anyone to your list.
I have to open two windows; 1 to sort, then other to add to list.
    Try that.

To be fair to Chrome, I have not found a browser this doesn't happen to.

I have a lot of picks the next two drafts. The list is on my Draft Trade Block thread. I'm open to ideas for trading up or out. I also could package a bunch for a BLB star.

              Seattle selects....

              SP Joey 'Last Resort' Seymour

I struggled with this pick. I don't feel this draft has that runaway superstar at the top that most drafts usually have with the top one or two prospects. I shopped the pick around. Entertained the idea of drafting 6 different players with the pick. As I mentioned in the trade block thread, I really wanted to go hitter here as that's more what my franchise needs. I also didn't really want to draft a HS this high as I've been waiting for 1.2 in 2017 SP Tom "Domino" King to make his BLB debut still, and now I will have to do it all over again. But, with a pick this high, you can't draft based on positional need or where your franchise is in their rebuild/contention.

But, I really like Seymour. For a player #1 on the draft list you'd think this would have been a bit easier of a selection. Stacked up against "Domino" his stats are very similar, but he's a righty with better intangibles. He's a 2-time All-Star and won the pitcher of the year award in 2019. He just pitched his best game of the season in the playoffs and might have a chance to pull a "Domino" and win the whole thing!

Brad is on the untimed clock.

My scout wants to make sweet, sweet love to Seymour.
                Has him at 8/7/7 potential.

I was wondering how you top dogs handled High Schoolers that looked like the best players this high in the draft.

Just personal choice, but I'll never take a HS player high in the draft. Too impatient to have a guy stashed in my minors for 5 seasons.

I've always preferred college players because they're closer to the BLB and theoretically have less time to "bust" but that didn't work out very well for me in the Blueprint vs Domino decision.

I did this for a long time and if the decision is between a HSer and college, I still go college.

With that being said, I'd suggest going with whoever your scout recommends that best coincides with OSA and has the stats to back it up.

At the same time, weigh what OSA and stats say along with what your scout thinks.
My scout has picked some gems but has also crapped the bed too.

It's another piece of the puzzle.

I definitely don't like some of the new mechanics - team chemistry and the way intangibles may (or may not) have changed in particular. Obviously because my record is pretty bad and I "don't get" these new systems. I'm also not big on how prospects are rated and ranked - though I never really relied on just that.

The one thing I do love is the variation in the draft - it's pretty awesome. Every pick isn't scripted because scouts and OSA ratings when combined with GM styles and stats have really made things interesting. I love it even if I've been mostly wrong in my picks so far.

I'm not big on this version of the game either. Makes me realize it's more about the GMs than OOTP.
