5-2 to start the year. Offense looks better than last year. McPherson belted a home run in his Toronto debut. I think he's going to excel in our ballpark, it's designed for those lefty bats.

3-3. If Jimenez had not started his routine blown games in the first half of the season, we would be 4-2.

Reed shelved. So there goes our best starter. Salazar down till second half. There goes our best reliever.

Reed will be replaced by Jimmy Lewis. I hoped to get him some minor league starts after last season's injury but guess he will bypass that.

Not sure who replaces Salazar. No one really can. I think I'm going to pick a long reliever for the innings help.

As for the season. When we are hitting well and both Healey and Ichikawa haven't hit (#1 And #2 in batting average in 2020), I feel pretty damn good.

Also Ian Thomas. You are our starting right fielder. Congratulations.

1-5. We looked terrible at bat but really not nearly enough data yet to make any real evaluations.

I think we are just a bit rusty since I didn't demote anyone or have heavy reps for starters early in ST like I normally do. We'll see how we do next week after rust drops off a bit more.

Also, shout out to everyone - We had 100% exports for Opening Day and everyone was at their 25 man limit (even if we had a few 25 man members not on the 40; that's an easy miss). Really appreciate it, guys!

                    25/25, fantastic!

Anyway, pretty good first sim for us though Poppino has been a little shaky to start the year. He gave up a 2 run walk-off HR to Batavia and gave up a run in a couple of the other games. The SP are off to a good start too. Of course, 2B Fernando Ortiz is hurt again. Peller and Romero started off weakly but the offense has been OK so far. Omar Baber has a short leash this year and isn't off to a good start.

Looking forward to the next sim, thanks for the hard work ya'll do for the league!

                        Agreed!
I always feel like I should say this after every sim.
Such a great league (except for New Orleans - nothing personal, but I feel like I have to start a rivalry with more teams. Suck it Carolina).
Thanks for all you do guys!

I will not play second fiddle to another one of your contrived rivalries.

Went full youth. Put two more vets on the waiver wire and brought up a young OF and another young IF. I'll probably destroy everyone but it's a change we need.
