Ernie Naylon now the #1 prospect in the game- that's surprising but obviously the game gives a lot of credit to CF. Hope he's as good as the scouts project.

In Baltimore, it looks like nearly the whole team is happy to have a pitcher of SP Willy Fajardo's pedigree added to the roster. The fans are pretty excited also. We are projected to sell nearly 50% of Phillips Field seats to season ticket holders and projected to sell out every game. Better get those season tickets guys, it's going to cost more if you don't.

On the farm, it looks like OF C.J. Stripling is finally making an appearance at #33, and former #1 overall high school prospect CF Alistair Whaley dropping down to #35. We also see SP Geoff Marlor debuting at #82 and SP Ian McCormick hanging around at #89.

Probably just a 4th/5th guy at this point but a lefty who can field three spots and has good intangibles.

Interestingly, SP Dave Hall signs with Toronto on a one-year deal for $1M. In the first off-season sim, I offered him a three year deal at $4M per. Despite a full sim passing, as of yesterday's file it still said "pending" with no response from Hall. This sim, I never got an email response from him and he signs with Toronto for a far less deal. It appears the offer never actually got to him as he should have at least sent me a negotiation update email. I did however receive an email telling me he signed with Toronto. Strange.....good get though Spear.
Thanks. We're going to slot Hall into the 5th spot in the rotation. Has the potential to bounce back.

Just noticed Seattle's season ticket sales dropped from 16,000 in 2020 to 6,000 in 2021, despite a 17% price cut and projection of 17,000.

I guess we are going to have to win the fans back!

Its really insane how much they turn on you so fast now. The financials in this version are really hard to pick up on. Yes yes I know "you win" but jesus last decade should of counted for something??

On the sunny side, we now have 4 pitchers in the top 100 after the slight reset. None are aces although Marco might end up a solid 2/3 guys. So there's that.

I got rocked this year. Fan interest, market and loyalty took big hits. But, if you go 44-118, that can happen.

We've had one playoff run and my interest went up nicely. It's much more fluid now. Not sure if that's better or worse but at least for bad teams, there's hope that it can recover quickly.

I have expensive season tickets, especially considering our normal game ticket price. We've sold only 20% of last year's total tickets, but have already made 50% of the sales. So, I'm curious to see if this strategy works.
