Well, we were completely destroyed. No answers on the mound or at the plate for the Death Valley juggernaut. I thought my lineup might have some issues, but wasn't anticipating my pitching staff to be annihilated. Not sure anyone can stop that team.

Strong series by Dave Monks who is having a fantastic play-off, the ex Indianapolis 1B is giving back the effort of being acquired for a 3rd Round pick. Named MVP of the series as he hit .579 / .600.

Excited to advance to my 2nd Brewmasters cup with this bunch of players. Finally the Ale couldn´t dominate the DL after all.

I don't remember who said it but someone called a DVS return to the Brewmaster's after upsetting Batavia. Pretty wild. Two years in a row that DVS makes the Brew with arguably their two WORST teams they have brought to the dance since 2005. They snuck into the playoffs by one game over LAM and two games over WC. Two DL teams finished with better records that didn't make the playoffs. Now they are four wins away from their first Brewmaster's title post Clay-Steroid Scandal. Congrats to UMD. Even making it this far you have to be pleased.

I thought DC was the most talented team in the BLB by years end. The injury to 1B CJ Turnbow might have cost them. His replacement, Cardenas, went 1/15 in the series. They also didn't have an answer for the ageless TJ Dunn all series.

Congrats to Dallas. A lot of GMs wrote Dallas off as an upset special. The Sharks landed the #1 overall seed but had the easiest schedule in the entire BLB. Although the Wilmington series was over in five, in the four wins, the Sharks outscored the Wildcats by a combined five runs! Pitching and defense, who would have thought? 1B Dave Monks got MAJOR revenge against his former team: 11/19 in the series!

#1 vs. #12 - Pretty sure this is a first. I think Dallas has to be a heavy favorite to win this series. Dallas has gone with three LHSPs in the playoff rotation. DVS was just 16-29 against lefties all season. However, this is a very playoff tested Scorpions team... Team of destiny?

Monks killed us. Good series to you, you deserved it. Surmeier was a joke the entire playoff. I'll chalk that up to him being injured for half the season.

Funny enough, I can blame myself for a bit of the loss here as I allowed my SPs to be used in relief and our rookie SP blew it in the final game. Our bullpen finally cost us in the playoffs.

Every time I get to the Brew we play the #1. This result should be no different but damn did this squad make a run.
