            Great series Spectre.

We find the most interesting ways to lose a series every year. I mean I can't fault the decision by my manager bringing in RH Blick to face the RH lineup but NY gets 3 straight infield hits to start the rally and comeback to win. Can't help but wish Carrasco was brought in but thems the breaks.

            Entertaining nonetheless.

              Agreed, what an amazing series.

I thought we'd have a lot of trouble beating Baltimore in a three game set given their home field success. Ron Osborn hasn't been a good pitcher in the postseason and got lit up in Game 1, we didn't really have a chance. Game 2 was a classic game- we came down from a 5-3 deficit in the bottom of the 8th to take the lead. It was small ball to set up that lead- Gordie Gugliotta hit a sac fly off Monk to give us the lead after Jimmy Peller drove home 2 runs with a bases loaded single.

Game 3, though, was epic- we won because of my starting pitcher. He pitched 7 innings of 1 run ball which I usually expect. However, tied 1-1 at the top of the 8th inning my manager decided to let Ian Daley take a rip because he was cruising. Next thing you know, he hits a 414 foot homerun on an 0-2 count. Old man Fernando Ortiz then ripped a 2 run HR to give us a cushion as we wrapped up the series 5-2.

Next up, a tough series against Washington where we are definitely huge underdogs. The last two seasons have already been successes after years of futility so anything right now is gravy.

Why am I playing Toronto if the lowest remaining seed is Wilmington??

The teams don't re-seed. The #1 seed plays the winner of #4/#5.

I assume it's the OOTP default setting for playoffs.
