Year 13, playoff appearance number 11. Should be an early exit on deck.

We'll see how it goes. I won't be able to export until at best 10pm EST, I just woke up with a hangover in a random house in Bradenton and idk what's going on so it's gonna be an interesting day.

I don't think is going to be a quick playoff appareance. Your team is scary.

We will take this gift and enjoy being swept from the playoffs. We should have had a better season but we did not. Happy to toss another playoff season on the pile with one of my most disappointing teams of all time.

I'm surprised to see Hartford hang onto the Ale. Way to go Bdub! Very impressive season for a team Shavermetrics had as the 5th best team in the Ale.

I'm not surprised to see just three combined playoff teams come out of the Lager and Bock.

We go 5-1 to end the regular season with the third best record in the IL, leap-frogging NY, and earning a home series for the wildcard series.

I was very impresses by our 10-3 record to end the season as this is easily one of the better ends to a season that we've ever had.

Our pitching looks to be back in early season form after a tough August, posting a 1.83 ERA with 54 K, 8 BB, and just 3 HR allowed last week.

I'm looking forward to seeing if we can keep it up against NY who played pretty well against us this year.

A huge week for the Bats as we go 6-0 and win the Stout! Great way to head into the playoffs, where it will hopefully go better than it did last year when we had a similar finish.

At 99-63, it's our best record since 2014, after 3 consecutive 96 win seasons. Now hopefully we can do better in the playoffs, where we haven't won the IL since 2014. I feel like we've got a good shot, but you never know how it will work out.

It was a huge week at the plate for us. We scored 48 runs, putting at least 7 on the board every game. We hit 11 home runs this week -and gave up 8 - so it was quite the power surge in our games, where home runs have been hard to come by for both teams usually. I signed Max Cardenas to a minor league deal a couple of months ago, and he saw his first action of the season since Turnbow went out. I played a hunch (with few other options, really), and he delivered 2 homers, including a tiebreaking grand slam in the 8th inning against Carolina. Maybe it was just luck, but he's got a chance to be on the postseason roster since Turnbow will be unavailable at least for the first series. Tristan Moody and Jamie Roberts also had big weeks, each with 2 HRs. Roberts has been a nice surprise for me this year, and he's done well since taking over more of the time in RF since Morales was dealt.

On the mound, we gave up a bunch of homers, as I mentioned. That's been one our big strengths for most of the season, but it's slipped a little lately. We did pretty well outside of that, still finishing with 2.98 team ERA. I'm not sure what else I can say about Ed Carroll. He was brilliant again, throwing 8 innings of shutout ball against Batavia, giving up only 2 hits, striking out 9 with no walks. He finishes the season with 9.3 WAR, the 13th best season in BLB history (if you take out Pancho Herrera). By WAR, it's the best season for a pitcher in the BLB since 1986. 18-4, 2.40 ERA, 256 Ks, 31 BBs, only 9 HR allowed. 1.66 FIP and 9.3 WAR. Just a ridiculous season that should win the Pale Ale.

Carroll's only loss since June came when my manager went braindead and pitched him out of the bullpen one day before his scheduled start for whatever reason (back in August).

Roger Villasenor won IL Pitcher of the Month for September, he's also had a really good year.

I'm not sure this is working correctly. I (and several others) have seen the same issue, where signing popular players doesn't result in any popularity boost. For instance, signing Mitchell and trading for Yonke did nothing for my popularity, at least immediately. However, any one who left my team did hurt my popularity. So, either something changed where you don't get the boost right away, or it's not working right. Not sure.

I hope it was a calculated change. Fans don't care if you sign big name stars and the team still doesn't win.

This. I'm sure but this is Pawtuckets first losing in over a decade and our fan interests has gone from 95 to 54. Maybe my fans are just dicks, but we've done everything possible on this.

Also.......pretty sure the Cubs sucked for centuries yet they filled the stands for a good part of the rebuild.
