Grt your paycheck ready for the kid... anything less than $30M per will be a steal...

5-2 week for the Bats brings us to within one game of Batavia in the Stout. Same spot we were in last season at this time, when we were a game back of Philadelphia. A 5-1 final week won us the division then, so hopefully we'll find a way to do it again this season. It won't be easy - we play 3 vs Carolina before finishing the season off against the Muckdogs. Final series of the year and it will likely determine the Stout.

Bad news this week as CJ Turnbow is done for 3 weeks. The guy was finally hitting like I'd been waiting for, and now he's on the shelf. Not sure what I'll do in terms of shuffling the lineup, we don't have a ton of obvious choices at 1B. We got some good weeks from guys like Yonke, Moody and Sanders, so hopefully the lineup will still hit for one more week.

On the mound, Ed Carroll got win #17, leading the IL. By WAR, he's had the 29th best season by a pitcher in BLB history. Maybe that doesn't sound too impressive, but consider this: If you take out Pancho Herrera, it's the highest WAR for any pitcher since 1990. Hopefully he's got one more dominant start in him when he goes against Batavia.

Thankfully, it never got very close to him moving to another team. He's worth far more now than what I might have accepted then (and certainly much, much more than anything that was offered).

              So....

              Regular or Live Sim?

I won't be able to be around for the proposed live sim time but just wanting to know if I need to get up early tomorrow so I can have time to enjoy the sim before the daily grind.
