Didn't you mention that the beginning cash needs to be fixed also? I know I had more than $11.6 million at the end of the last sim with old version of the game.

Also... need to bump up California one level in Media contracts to 45 million.

I'm loving this new HTML though. Looks great.

How much did you have? It shows $11.6m as your ending balance from last season.

Apparently there's nothing I can do here. I edited all the media contracts to the new values but it doesn't seem to change it on the front office screen.

If you add the numbers in the last season overview column you get, 40,160,128 + 3,140492 + 24,750,000 + 12,402,908 + 4,422,111 - 66,880,105 - 3,895,113 = 14,100,531. This amount is off by 2,500,000. I understood you to say earlier that the beginning cash for everyone not over the limit was off because of something to do with scouting budgets and you would adjustf for this in the first sim.

Also, as I understand the way the game is supposed to work, my current budget should be
the sum of the first 4 numbers above (last year's revenue since my media contract did not change) but the total of these is 80,453,638 while my budget is only 78,083,647.

The $2.5m is for scouting expenses for 1984 (which obviously shouldn't have been charged). I said I was going to add this into the bonuses sheet which will get entered tomorrow.

I hate being an ass, asking all these questions... but I was looking at the stadium fund utility and it says "Luxury Tax received this Season: $3,144,150".

Where is that money, and does it all go to your stadium fund?

That hasn't been updated yet. Will also happen tomorrow.

Ok... but what does the Tax do? Does it just go to your stadium fund... or does it go to your cash flow?

Tax, bonuses, etc go into you cash up to the $20 mil cash max. Anything that puts you over $20 mil or if you were already at $20 mil automatically goes into your stadium fund.

If you are over the cash limit of $20,000,000 at the beginning of the year it goes directly to your stadium fund. To the extent that the luxury tax money will not take you over the limit it goes into current cash giving you the option of leaving it there or adding it to the stadium fund.

OK thanks, but it looks like the difference between what my current budget is and what it actually should be is related to the scouting expense charge though the difference is not exactly $2.5 million. This doesn't really effect me since I am not trying to extend anyone but I imagine this happened to everyone. So I'll leave it to someone else to complain if they need an extra $2,5 million for extensions.
