Money for Extensions

FYI, the next patch will allow you to use cash for signing players to extensions.

In light of this, I'm willing to enter extension offers for teams who have enough cash, even if it says they have $0 for extensions. However, the money for extensions field does not show negative values so to calculate the amount you have for extensions use the following formula:

(Current Budget + Starting Balance) - (Projected Payroll + Staff Expenses + Scouting Expenses)

It appears to me that the scouting budget is already included in the calculation of the current budget. For instance, my total revenue last season was 80,453,638 but my current budget is only 78,083,647. The difference is 2,369,991, which I think already includes my scouting budget. There is an unlocated difference between the scouting budget and this amount of 30,009 and I'll admit, I don't know what it is but I still think the scouting budget is in there. Therefore, I believe that the money available for extensions should be -

(Current Budget + Starting Balance) - (Projected Payroll + Staff Expenses)

Also, several teams are in line for changes in media contracts beginning next season. Shouldn't this change be included in the above formula?

And yes, I agree the teams set to get a reduction or boost should have that factored in as well. I believe it's +/- $6,250,000.
