    3-3 for the week.

In the event that we make the playoffs, I can only hope that the gods of the BLB do not match us up against Batavia unless absolutely necessary. It would be nice if Philly or NY gets a crack at them first. SP Dusty Threatt got beat up by the Muckdogs pretty good. He got a little pissy after FF hit a first inning bomb and beaned him on his next AB. Now Fredrick is out for 2 weeks. Dusty said that the ball just "got away from him" but we all know better. NY and Carolina, donations are accepted.

3B D.J. LaRossa is playing so much better now that he's in the leadoff spot. Last week he went .421/.500/1.237 as the leadoff hitter. I don't think he cared for the pressure of hitting #2, so he gets the nod at the top of the order now.

We gave up 9 home runs last week, but I guess that's just what you get when you are facing Batavia. This Stout race is insane. It is nice to see such a tight race and with Carolina pretty good too, it will be a tough fight for everyone, every game.

I gave Potter two starts to see if he could work some of that early Threatt magic. He didn't do too well. So he got demoted again. We've released so many overpaid bums, Potter getting paid $6 MM is now the new "ugh" for me.

Potter was replaced in the rotation with former Dallas 2nd round pick pitcher Choi and he threw 8 shutout innings against Davenport. Maybe he's the answer to "What do we do now that Jimmy Lewis is hurt?"

It was a 4-2 week for the Bats, concluding our 13 game homestand with a 10-3 record. I'll take that. We won both series this week over Batavia and New York. We're now tied with the Muckdogs for the Division lead, atop the IL.

This week was all about pitching. Seems we can only hit or pitch, never both at the same time. But, we got a team ERA of 2.00 this week, only giving up 12 runs in the six games. Jaylen Mitchell is no longer DTD and threw a 4-hit shutout against the Knights. Ed Carroll struck out 10 in our shutout of Batavia to start the week.

The lineup struggled, but there were a couple of bright moments. Geoff Yonke had his second walk-off HR as a Bat. The newest Bat, Travis Anthony, had a walkoff single to end the series against Batavia. He did ok in his first week here, so hopefully he's a better answer at that position than anyone else has been.

Our division lead may be short lived, as we go on the road this week to start a 10 game trip away from home. Four at Baltimore followed by 3 at Philadelphia. With the way the Stout is shaping up, we could be in 5th place by the end of it.

Brawlers go 2-5 this week as the injury bug finally catches up to us. 4 of the 5 outfielders on the team go down to injury, including Tom Klotz who had been called up to replace Moir in center who got hurt last week. I think everyone but the back up catcher played centerfield and I'd have to look at the box scores again to be sure.

I'm going to chalk it up to the fact that he was rusty since he hadn't pitched in almost a month. I'm not sure why but the manager kept skipping him. Anyway, he's not the type to give up three home runs in one game, even if it is Batavia.

I mean c'mon, he gave up a home run to "Refund" (Anguiano)?

Frederick hurt. That means Baisden, Hirasawa, Sherman, Urmson, Stark, and now Fred all out this year.

We have injuries to low but from looking around the league '17 seems to have an uptick.

Started out slow, but we just had surge. Normal in all versions. Thats maybe the one thing Pawtucket has been able to avoid. Perhaps its because my guys don't care and take it easy??

Yes. Files were due an hour ago.

I'm pretty sure the sim will be up before you have a heat attack.
