Congrats to Maine and Dallas on Clinching.

Dallas' success gives me hope in Virginia that enough young talent can eventually click.

Getting swept by Wilmington then playing Washington (3) and Morgantown (4) for the last 7 games mean that I could play a HUGE role in determining the STOUT winner. If I can just go 7-0... I should put Wilmington in the Driver's seat. I'd love to play spoiler.

A lot of movement in the IL. The wildcard is up for grabs. DL playoff picture is pretty much set.

All playoff series are 7 games. 1 sim for each series.

A couple of questions on the upcoming sims. If there is a tie for one or more of the playoff spots, will the tie-break games happen the following sim and will that sim then also include the first round of the playoffs?

Any thoughts on how the Giant game on Thursday will affect the timing of that sim? I understand they changed the start time of that game so it would not interfere with McCain's acceptance speech. I don't suppose you could get them to change it again so that it won't interfere with this crucial sim.

I think in the past we have simmed the tie break games during the last regular season sim.

I'm going to try to sim at halftime but realistically, it probably won't get done until the game is over. My apologies to Senator McCain.

She sounds like a cross between a Canadian and a Wisconsin-ite.

It's that Utah/Idaho accent. My wife slips into it every great once in awhile.

I'm use to the Canadian and Midwest (Wisconsin/Minnesota) thing... this is different. The Great Plains accent is unique.

Oh, it all sounds the same to me.

I did Hurricane clean up work with a group from Wisconsin once... The entire week I had a love/hate relationship with the accent. For some things I thought it was pretty cool sounding... for others I wanted to jam a screwdriver through my ears.

Palin seemed like that to me.

I was actually surprised at how vicious she got... from everything I had seen of her, she seemed very reserved... but last night she came out swinging.
