Our magic number is one. We've got the champagne ready.

Oh, and those bums in the Stout should be thanking their lucky stars that Philadelphia is in the Porter now.

            0 for 6 Wow

On the plus side, Larry Headington took a really serious talent bump that wasn't expected.

Morgantown and Washington to close. I get to play spoiler.

Strange stat.... worst BP in the league... yet I'm .640 in 1-run games 32-18. Shocking.

We're playing shitty baseball at the absolute worst time...I'm starting to get worried.

A 7 game win streak puts us on the doorstep. Can there be any more pressure in the Bock?

Well, I can't be too upset about this season, except that I won't have a great draft pick next year. After starting 5-12, being 24-31 through the first few months, and looking like just an awful team....we turned around pretty well. From June on, Hartford went 57-43. I'm going to finish right around Sin City's record, who spends one trillion times more than I do. Hopefully good things for next season.

This last week, I will sweet Pitt and Maine as they rest their entire squads for the playoffs.

                        I'm slippin'...falllin'..I can't get up...

Davenport definitely deserves the division. They've just whupped us all year. But we're tanking in every series now. I can't believe we still have a lead in the wild card. It looks like our team has packed it in.

We're just too young at too many positions. Maybe we can squeak it out, I dunno.

                          We just can't find ourselves.

Alan Starr(C) hit no less than .275, April-July. August and September come and .233 and .181.

                          Yoshi Takahashi(SS): no less than .273 April-August. September: .215.

                          The bright side:
Newly called up (1B) Pat Washington 50AB, hitting .385 with 5 doubles.

Nick Latham in maybe his final games as a Bulldog, is back:
September: .342, 7 HR, 18 BB, 14 RBI. I wish his August wasn't so shitty.

4-2 sim with a sweep of Pittsburgh. Sure could've used some of this earlier in the season.
