1984 Top Virginia pick Arlen Spencer (1.5) goes from #3 prospect in the ORG and #31 in BA to completely off both lists without a Development Report. Strange.
On the flip side, Nate "The Skull" Magness.... despite a questionable season and a ton of scoffs from the league.... out of nowhere.... makes his debut on the BLB's TOP PLAYERS list as the #13 pitcher in the entire BLB. I'm hoping that means the "bust" ship has sailed.... but I'm not confident yet.
I did get a decrease on Arlen Spencer... I'm not worried though. He'll rally.
And The Skull debuted at 17.The Great One!

This Washington Bats team just continues to get worse and worse. 16-11 in April. 16-12 in May. 13-13 in June. 12-13 in July. 13-15 in August. Odds are I will have the worst record of all the playoff teams, and probably will get knocked out rather early.Wilmington Wildcats- 2057-

The reason his pyt. is so good is because he wins a ton of blowouts. If you look at his one run games its something like 18-32? that's horrible.
pyt. I think takes into account the runs scored vs. runs given up... thus, you win a ton of blowouts, you're going to have a good pyt. Here's a good article on the Diamondbacks and pyt.

The reason they were so good despite a bad pyt. is because they got blown out a lot, but their bullpen was clutch when needed in close games.California Kodiaks - GM - 1982-2013

Friendly Reminder....
I know there has been a long layoff... but you definately want to refresh your memory of the season because we have voting coming up soon.
Remember voting for league awards is mandatory. Rules are going to be put in place to "discourage" flaking out on this part of being an owner.
So, do yourself a favor... brush up on the league... don't just mail in the last month if you're out of the race. The Great One!
