Isn't it becoming obvious that Markus has pretty close to zero concern for our problems? It is a shame to lose a few statistics but we'll be switching to OOTP 9 at the end of the season which ought to take care of the problem going forward. I suggest we at least put some kind of limit on how long we will wait, say, until Thursday and then get the league going again.

I'll be honest, this timing works perfectly for me. I'm sure some of you have noticed that I haven't been online much this week. We closed on our house Friday and have been very busy painting, getting ready to move, etc.

Markus said he should be able to fix the issues early this week in his last email to me on Friday. If it gets done, we'll start back up ASAP. If it doesn't get done this week, we'll probably resume simming next week without the fixes.

What sport is this sim league based on? How do I sign up?

As I said, I do understand the importance of the fix that Markus is doing but I am getting a bit anxious nonetheless with a huge sim upcoming.

Personally, I think we pick a drop-dead date and stick to it. My fear is that if we don't, people are going to fade away.

Maybe Sunday? Even Friday assuming Markus isn't going to do anything on the weekend. If we don't have the file by Friday, we sim Sunday night?

I'm reluctant to pick Sunday because that would be operating on the assumption that Verizon hooks everything up OK on Friday. Tuesday 8/26 will be the date we resume if Markus can't get things fixed sooner.

So, assuming Markus DOES NOT fix the file, we resume next Tuesday as is.

If Markus fixes the file during the week, Andrew makes the call on if he can run the sim (not sure if you can run it from work).

At least that gives us a date. Personally, I away on a long weekend starting Thursday anyway... but I'm ready when we're ready. The beauty is that the first sim is already submitted.
