First of all, Oyos is better than any 3 of those together. Add in Carlton and McSwain at the BLB level with prospects like Magness and Blue (Just going 40 man roster) and I would safely say that YOU can't match mine. Bottomline is your best pitcher this year is a one-hit wonder so far with no ratings or track record to back up the argument that it will continue.
    That's where you're wrong.

VORP in the BLB this year:
    (25) Toapanta: 37.9
    (22) Vizcarra: 30.5
    (22) She: 11.7
    (20) Smith: 1.4
    (24) Scott: 5.5 (with California), 2.4 overall.

    (25) Oyos: 25.3
    (29) Carlton: 6.3
    (29) McSwain: 17.4
    (22) Magness: -13.4
    (24) Blue: 1.4

So where exactly do your "young" pitchers start to be better than mine? I clearly am missing it.

Jud Graham is also waiting in the wings... but he's not on the 40 so I'm not counting him.

I've had a hell of a time in this thread... I don't think anything anyone has said has been personal, yet.

I *think* we're all being sarcastic.

At least, I hope we are.

How can you use VORP???? Especially when Oyos has missed most of the season....

Put it this way.... put the 10 guys mentioned above in a hat and have a draft.... tell me the order they are picked in.

The thing I love so much about making it "personal"... is that in this environment... how could you actually make it personal? I mean, I'm sure some of the OSers, Clay, Pat, Sully, Jistic, they probably know each other well enough, and I know a couple of the guys are buddies at home, but... what would actually have to be said for it to really be personal? You'd have to do a lot of stalker type research on someone. Clay, that should be your CSQotD tomorrow... "What would have to be said for someone to actually get personal?"

Someone on OS told me that I was a bad son because I went to E3 three weeks before my Mom died....

I've been called everything under the sun....

There's nothing anyone could say on the internet that would really, truly bother me on a personal level.

Same here, and you can pretty much carry that over into the real world. I'm brutal to my co-workers, but they throw it right back at me. It's all in good fun, though, and we all realize that.

My rule has always been I won't joke about family unless someone does it first to me. After that, I consider them fair game.
