Another 4-2 week for the Whale, getting back on track after a disappointing prior week.

Some good signs of the future:
-H Castro is batting .316 in August and has raised his negative VORP to 10.6
-J Burchette is batting .280 in August, and is showing more power with 4 HR's in the month
-J Curry continues to be strong with a 3.24 ERA and almost 100 K's in his first season
    -M Recalde is 4-1 in 8 games with a 2.19 ERA, only 44 hits in 54 innings
-C Nuis has come up as a MR to pitch 8 innings, giving up 5 hits and striking out 10 with a 1.13 ERA

Despite having nearly the lowest payroll, the Whale have moved from their 5-17 start to be in 3rd place in the WC standings. Sure our season is done, but nice to outperform teams spending twice as much.

And AA Middletown is up 3-2 in the series going back to Middletown. Take that Bouchard!!

          Letter to Patty:

I just want you to know that your name is tarnished in Baltimore. I hate Rogado, he's such an ass. All I needed was another overrated, 3B playing, prima donna.

BTW - That new Los Lunas owner needs to get here because LL has caught the Virginia Curse... after one good sim under my interim management, they've gone in the crapper and now lost Ken Cahill. The funny thing is I didn't do anything different besides just make sure they didn't have anyone on the DL that was ready to come back or vice versa. I suck.

1-5 sim, but Gonzalez was a beast: 13IP 2/bb 13/k 7/H and two quality starts for a 1-1 record. Hey, if we hadnt called him up we could have gone winless for the sim.

Couldn't gain a game on Maine and lose J-Buzz for a week. Fanfuckingtastic.

Looks like the winner of the AAA-Stout will come down to Memphis(Wilmington), Annapolis(Baltimore), and Trenton(Philadelphia) with Memphis having a 1-game lead over the other two teams. I'm looking forward to see how this one goes down.

Damn, just noticed that Tom Lang actually went 9.2 innings in my 16 inning game with Dallas. 3 earned, 2 walks, and 15 K's...not too bad.

                            Screw the BLB...

18 year old Juan Carlos Ramírez of the California organization just became the all time batting average leader for the ILAA at .359 in 621 career at bats!
