  • Doorbell also is easily tops in the all important PwrSpd index. More importantly a young Yoshinaka Toiguchi is 3rd. He one day shall be king of the PwrSpd index!

    • Career Metrics are so awesome. Can't wait to use that this year for voting. I just wish there was an easy way to seperate the rookies.

      • Woodbury also leads the league in win shares and offensive win shares. Granted, those are more MVP type stats, but still something to consider.

I might be leaning towards ringing the Doorbell.

Pat's IL Stout Slugger Metrics are:

          OPS+ * Win Share - Games Played for Virginia = X

Mel's not counting on that vote.

            More like....

            OPS * team played for = X

(All teams are equal to 1, except Virginia which is equal to 0)

            • I'm obviously biased because Caballero is my MVP.

I didn't realize this particular stat was getting updated during the season, so I hadn't taken a look at the rankings until now. I never would have guessed we have 8 batters with 125+ OPS+ rankings.

I think most of our low park factors are attributable to the park itself (it's always seemed to be death for HR hitters), but I think a small part of the reason the factors are so low this season is because our pithcing staff will have pitched there 81 times this year. Not saying we're the best staff in the league or anything, but I think our staff is pretty good.

Take a pretty good staff and plug them into a pitcher friendly ballpark and the factors are driven down even more as the staff is able to take advantage of the park more than an average staff would be able to. Am I thinking about that correctly?

We should send that recommendation to the Utility Dev. A rookie flag would be awesome.

I'm surprised that isn't already included in the utilities. It's obviously built into the game since there's a rookie filter on the stat pages.

On another note, it's always driven me crazy that the rookie filter isn't available on the sortable stats page, only the leaderboard pages.

Go to the bottom right of the page and where it says "Players: All" switch it to "Only Rookies".
