Brad Reed likely agrees with you. According to his ratings, Kinsey is the best player in the league that I've come across.
I wish OOTP had a way for you to ask your scout to rank the best players in the league according to his thoughts.
Older versions allowed you to do this within your organization. Is that still available?Denver Bulls

You can still do it... just sort by overall/potential. While the ratings no-longer show... it still shows you who the scout has as the best when you sort.
Personally... I think it tends to overrate speed/defense, but to each their own.California Kodiaks - GM - 1982-2013

It's just that Keppel's BB/K ratings are slightly higher. I'm starting to think Kinsey might break the 50 HR mark someday.Denver Bulls

he was picked just that late. and i didn't even pick him. i let the computer sim that pick. but based on my draft history, it doesn't surprise me that it was the computer that got him and not me. jeez, my draft history is just plain sad....

Dear BLB Voters -
I know Award Voting season is coming soon and, well, we just wanted to take a moment to remind you that, while some players may end the year with slightly flashier number, look hard at the players who are doing it when it matters most.
When their team is being ravaged by injury... who will put them on their back and say "follow me".
When their team is in their first ever pennant race... who says "follow me".
Sometimes the whole story isn't written in the boxscore. Make sure you're following the right one.
Thank you.
Paid for by the Committee to Elect Mel Woodbury - 1988 IL Stout SluggerThe Great One!

He's playing out of position (again) to cover the Geoff Scott injury and he just keeps carrying us toward the playoffs. Not saying in any way he is more deserving than Woodbury, but I think he should garner a few 2nd or 3rd place votes. I mean, come on he was an All-Star this year!Philly Freedom

"Checkmate" vs. "Eager Beaver"
Wilkerson = 15-7, 1.58 ERA, .91 WHIP, 199.1 IP, 242 Ks, 0 CG
Carlton = 19-1, 1.54 ERA, .88 WHIP, 175.1 IP, 139 Ks, 1 SO
It could really go either way. Carlton is actually undefeated as a starter (18-0), his one loss was when he was still coming out of the pen. It's probably going to come down to whether you like W-L record vs. strikeouts, or whos nickname you like better, because all the other numbers are almost identical. Phenomenal years by both players.Wilmington Wildcats- 2057-
Seattle Pilots- 2017-2041

I can see Woodbury winning the award, but vote for Woodbury because he's a beast on the base paths or his home/away splits are amazing compared to Caballero, not because the Virginia franchise is standing on the corner with a "will work for food" sign.
After Harcourt went down, Caballero has hit .353/.375/.853/1.228 with 10 HR and 23 RBI in September.
If that's not doing everything you possibly can as an individual to keep your team in contention, I don't know what is. He shouldn't be penalized because our pitching staff is terrible.
