I'm not saying none of the guys could help me, I'm just unsure I will be able to pony up the cash. Arbitration was expensive this off-season for the Bats, (it always is), so I might be able to go after 1 or 2 guys at most. I could use an extra infielder and possibly a pitcher...

Don't worry, I'll have it tomorrow.

You seem pretty eager to kick me out of the league though

Why? It's not like you have to worry about me in the playoffs or anything, I'm out in the first round

I just don't like your avatar's attitude. He's looking at me with a "I'm sleeping with your wife and you don't even know about it" grin. My avatar is contemplating kicking his ass.

The more I look at it, I think this is actually an underrated Free Agent class.

                  Totally overrated.

I advise everyone to lowball the top guys.

Is anyone in that FA list willing to play for free?

Unless the Javelinas can dump a contract or two, i can't even bring anyone on board for the league minimum.

                    • I'll be on the sidelines. Seems salary demands are out of control again. I won't be able to afford my own guys at the end of this year.

No doubt. Some outrageous demands out there.

Same thing as last year... I signed him for 6 million when the season started... his demands will come down.

                            • Yah, but his demands right now are insane. Even if it were half of that I still think it'd be too much.

                              • I think Jose Sanchez asking for 20 mil a year after being injured practically the whole season is ridiculous too. I wish the salaries in this game were a little closer to what they were in 1985.
