Don't you have to slip GHB to the new McHottie at the gym?

    Get out of here.

That's it...I'm tanking. I figure if I lose the rest of my games I have a chance.

Thats bullshit my man. The CCC is for truly crappy teams, not wannabe's.

Take your winning record and good players elsewhere!

Can't do it... even if you lost the rest, you'd only have 98 losses. Sorry. Worse luck next year.

We totally bitched out in our latest series at California...otherwise we would be a little lower in the Cup standing.

You killed me in the 1st inning and my starters got pulled before the 2nd even started in several of the games! My goal is to pass you by the end of the year. We're fine tuning daily. Beating you is are our playoffs!

                    YES!

I'm running away with this bitches- trading for Puerias might not have been the best idea though :(

CCC Cup Deadline Winners and Losers thread anyone?

                      LOSERS
California not being able to move guys like Viret, Gailian, and Stapley (yet) while adding guys like Peyton and Scott will hurt them in the CCC hunt. D+

Mississippi adding Puerias is going to hurt. But they have played well (bad) enough to give themselves a nice cushion and the luxury of improving their team even in the middle of the first CCC chase. D-

                      NEUTRAL
Indy and Batavia have stood pat with what they have. Which - when you think about it - when it comes to the CCC, could be considered a win. C+/B-

                      WINNERS
Virginia loses Taracena and feels the wrath of the BLB media after getting only Negron back for Ghianny and Just. Evidentally the media haven't been following the chase for the inaugural CCC. B+

Pawtucket dealt Puerias to Mississippi which, in the world of the CCC, is considered double trouble. Improve the team of the CCC front runner and add nothing of immediate value to your BLB roster. Losing Egbuhuzo helps, too. A-

Syracuse deals it's #1 starter and two management-favorite relievers. Unfortunately they may be too far out of the race for it to matter. B+

                        I'm calling felonious reporting.

Trading Taracena COULD improve my chances of grabbing the CCC, but if Poling is as good as he looks, we won't lose that much.

Ghaniy was going to maybe play a factor in 2 more wins the rest of the season... maybe 3. Just was not leaving AAA. Negron, while people can have their opinions, will help the Colonials most glaring weakness.... blowing leads! Taking 3 of 4 1-run games from the Defending Champs with this new bullpen makes Virginia certain deadline LOSERS in the quest for the CCC.

Well, I guess even the worst reporters are sent to cover the CCC.

I assumed they sent the interns.

                              Interns have too much potential.
