SIM COMPLETE - 1984 - Regular Season 18

A couple of sims ago it looked like I would soon be out of contention but a 9-2 stretch against my divisional opponents has put me back in the race. Both losses were 1-0 in which Hernandios pitched for me. Poor guy hasn't been terrible but the team has lost 9 of his last 10 starts with him taking 8 of the Losses.

Other than the two losses the offense has finally come around thanks to newly acquired Kenichi Sato doing a fine job and Joe Hernandez who has responded well to regular playing time. These two along with the always reliabile Llombart, Elliot and especially Robbins have combined to create problems for the opposing pitchers.

Are you gonna call up Gonzalez and Avery soon?

Its tempting to call them up for the rest of the season and let them go, but I'm not convinced their ready.

Avery want to be called up, but the Minor League page says he 'may' be ready, so their not conviced either. His ratings are there for the most part, but his control rating isn't what I'd like it to be yet.

Gonzalez has outperformed Avery, but his ratings are lower. He has no BLB expectations, and the Minor League page has no opinion. I usually like those two factors to match up before I call a guy up, so I dont know yet.

Either way, they'll get the call at some point this year, barring injury.
