5-1 this week, against Virginia and Baltimore. Sweet! I love Joe O'Connelan.

6-1 this week including a 4 game sweep over the hated Whalers. My offense is still slugging the ball but I still have my concerns over the long run without my DH.

4-3 this week, 2 winning weeks in a row! Took 3 of 4 from Windy City but dropped 2 of 3 to Davenport. Not bad against two of the best teams in the league.

Frank Esser is now 0-7 for me. I swear he has to get the least run support in the league. Is there anywhere the game tracks that? We haven't gotten more than 3 runs in any of the games he's started.

Where did Hyundai come from? 8 game streak to take the Lager division lead. Good to see Dallas getting into the mix in that division as well.

3-4 this week, lost ground to the '27 Yankees.

I have no idea what the computer decided to do with my staff. Pulled Theodore for pinch hitter in the 3rd inning for no reason, my team strategy is to NEVER pull in that situation.

The real problem in the bats. Pitching's doing pretty well, but the bats are cold cold cold.

Davenports winning at a .750 clip this month. If that keeps up we're finished.

4-3 this week, but I lost two more players to injury, Nathan Nance (AAA) SP, for two weeks, and Gary O'Duffy (AA) for 10 MONTHS with a herniated disc in his back.

                    Perfect.

I slid O'Connelan from the 4th slot up to the third in my rotation so that I'd have my best 3 pitchers going against Baltimore. It paid off. He and Dallyn had a classic pitchers duel, and I swept the hated Bulldogs!

Dallas is glad to be in the mix too! After spending a lot of time with my team, making some trades and tweaking my line-ups I think I might actually have a shot at playoffs in the next year or so. My best week yet...won 4 in a row but then lost 3 in a row. I hope we can keep this up.

Also, like Jistic, the computer did some crazy things with my team. The 1st game of my losing streak, it made up a line-up that I have no idea where it came from....I have no line-up even close to that (even with subs when players are tired). Among other things, it put a guy batting under .200 in the leadoff spot...when my regular leadoff hitter is hitting almost .300! I'm gonna have to look into that to see if that's something I screwed up.

Three shutouts and my staff gave up just 5 runs all week. I did lose a game though but perhaps it would be untoward to complain.

This must be too good to last but it sure is fun for now. Most of my pitchers are pitching like they invented the game.

5-2 and we lose a half a game in the race. Fantastic.

                              1-6 this week.

I better get a great player in the draft.

When is the draft scheduled, by the way? I'll ask for that night off work (if I work that night)...does that make me lame?
