  • SIM COMPLETE - 1979 - Sim 6

Sim is done. I kicked out the power cord on my laptop mid sim (insert corrupt commish joke here) so had to start over. It duplicated some of the transactions in the transaction logs during the whole debacle. I thing I got rid of most of the duplicates but may have missed some.

Cool. Shitty deal with the power cord.

It seems to still be loading, I couldn't complete the download...just a few more minutes.

Jude White is a fucking badass!

I should make him my ace, I'm sure he could hold his own.

            I might fire my manager:

Pinch Runner at 2nd T. Corrigan

I know a guy got hurt, but they couldn't find anyone else to pinch run besides my ace?!?!

Well I'm an idiot and didn't realize it was interleague play, and didn't have those lineups set up properly, so I had my "c" team lineup in there. But at least I didn't use my ace as a pinch runner...

4-2, and now in first place. Joe O'Connelan was solid in his first outing for Wilmington. 8 IP, 5 hits, 2 ER, 0 BB, 8 K. Looking good.

                  I get 3-3 with a no-hitter by Cafferty, 2-hitter by Mathes.

That's what I like right there.

Joe Santiago got hurt, got swept by the Guides and only won two of three against Sin City....

                    Not a good week.

1-5 this week. Man, this team is streaky. Lost games of 4-3, 4-3, 4-3, and 7-5.

I like how it used my mop up man in the 9th inning of a tie game. Who, of course, gave up a run to lose it.

5-2 this week. Second best record in baseball.........too bad the first best is in my division. Have to play perfect baseball just to keep pace. One of us is gonna be disappointed come October if this keeps up.

Some great races shaping up. Joe Hernandez continues to be great as a 5th starter.

An out of character 5-1 this week, ending on a 4 game tear. New acquisition Igor G. pitched a gem. Who needs that overpriced salad tosser O'Connellan?

ouch, 2-4 and got no-hit by Virginia.
Still have a 3.5 game lead dispite only winning 7 games so far this month.
                            D. Guardamangi won another game and is now 6-1 with a 2.12 ERA. Can anyone say Cy Young?

Wow, a 5-1 week. Not playing the best teams, but it's something to start. Got series against Davenport and Windy City this week, if we're gonna make up some ground, this week will be huge.
