And I still don't see your argument... the 18 GM's that voted, voted Vizcarra in... the Top 5 were automatically given a spot on the team, and Vizcarra finished 5th in voting. It's not like Pat picked him, he made the team on voting merit alone.
    Okay.

Gee, I like your picks Pat. But, hmmm, it seems odd to me that the game/utility allowed Vizcarra to be selected as an SP. Does it only take into consideration what the team has the player listed as? If I changed Van Slyke to a SP prior to Andrew setting up the utility would the utility allow Van Slyke to be selected as a starter?

Obviously this discussion is kinda pointless in that Vizcarra was voted in and we aren't actually going to play the game anyway. My only point, and I realize I sabotaged myself by bringing Pateshall into it, was that I do not believe that Vizcarra should be considered a SP for voting purposes just because his main position is listed as a SP. I like Vizcarra and I think I voted for him (can't recall) but in looking into it more I think the utility is borked a bit is all.

So congrats Linty on making a great call in moving him into the rotation (really) and also congrats on getting him to represent the IL.

Fair enough. Sully also said the utility didn't take into account his best reliefs pitchers but instead picked one of his worst for voting purposes.

It did the same to my starters, but I knew none of them would make the team no matter who was listed, so I didnt make a big deal about it.
