Clay, you should obviously move Magness up to the #1 spot. Two wins in a roll. HOF worthy for sure.

Los Lunas's problems continue:( I think I may have figured out where the problem is though so hopefully we'll pull out of this two sim slump and start winning some games.

Donato's been having a heck of a time since coming off of the DL

5-1 sim, taking 2 of 3 from Philadelphia and then sweeping California. Rookie Raul Zamora had a great week in the leadoff spot, hitting .370 with 6 runs scored. Jerome Middlebrooks continues to pitch out of his mind moving to 8-2, and Pat Reardon now has 17 saves and a 1.25 ERA. We move back to .500 and pick up 3 games on division leading Dallas, but we're still 8 out... so forget that. 4 out of the wildcard.

Toby Rochester is demanding a trade, less than one year after being sent to Los Al. I'm interested to see if anyone will take a shot at him.. I obviously wasn't around for his glory years but he still has great ratings.

I just noticed my illustrious bullpen blew a 7-5 lead I had on Windy City by giving up 7 runs in the bottom of the 8th- thank you ratings hit on Carranza, thank you very much OOTP

Wa-hoo we aren't in the cellar anymore! Poor Cam Mills...he just can't get a win. He's pitching pretty decent but can't get any help. 27 k's in 23 innings isn't bad I suppose.

I've decided to look at my squad as the Devil Rays of the early 2000s. I'm just going to keep getting top 5 draft picks and then maybe in 6-7 seasons, I'll be competitive :)

The man is b*tching about not being a starter, but I have him starting against left-handers and coming off the bench against righties. Whiny, whiny, whiny...

Meh... 3-3 for the third SIM in a row. Slowly starting to look like the .500 team that I thought I was. Best sim in the Stout, so I can't bitch.

Props this week to my three favorite players for all having good weeks!

                  Delmar Oyos -- 2-0 - 14.0 innings - 1 ER (0.64 ERA) - 12K/1BB - The Ace may be back!

                  Nate "The Skull" Magness -- 1-0 - 6.0 innings (hit pitch limit) - 3 hits - 0 Runs - 3K/3BB - Two wins in a row for The Skull

Danny Nelson -- I started contract negotiations with Nelson three sims ago and he's produced every sim. Unfortunately, his demands have gone up by 1.5 per season over the course of the last three sims with his performance -- This Sim: .375/.400/.750/1.150 with 2 HRs and 9 RBIs

Hard to get excited... but hard to bitch about 9-9 in the last 18 when you're Virginia.
                  The Great One!

Can I have him back yet?

dtown didn't mean to select him in the expansion draft. No foolin, I swear.

And we all see how that's worked out for Virginia... Clay's minors are stocked though.

Anyone got the patience to figure out the DL vs IL record for this sim. I'm guessing VERY DL slanted.
