I lose Oyos every season and he is easily my best player. Again, not putting it on the level of a year long loss. My team has the knack for losing someone that we are counting on right at the end of Spring Training every year. The Great One!
To many rings to count...

Another 4-3 sim. Did well against my division except for the Bats, who except for the extra inning game whooped our ass. Stole another one away from Virginia in the 9th, when they had the lead on us most of the game and took the 2 vs Wilimington. We have two 3 game series with Hartford and Maine up next.OSFL: Lake County Extreme 2008-2028, 2010 Champions

5-2 sim.
The Good
-2B R.A. Grounds hit for the cycle on four hits! He also hit .400 this sim with a 1.124 OPS. He is now hitting .312 with a .846 OPS. Not bad for a 2B. Eat your heart out Clay T. Shaver.
-Love/Hate SP Joe Rodriguez went 2-0 with a .67 ERA. Love that guy.
-After bashing him the last two sims, CF Dan Hogan has a huge sim. Hits .353 with a 1.213 OPS, two homers, two doubles. I guess benching him for two games was a good move. Woke his ass up.
-SP Joe Chavaragga had two starts, 15 IP, 16 Ks, 0 BB, 1.20 ERA. Didn't get a decision however which leads me right into...
The Bad
-My bullpen was awful! Closer Zoilo Lambarra blew two saves, got one loss, giving up 10 hits on 3 IP. Wow.
-Top prospect, RF Michio Nago continues to struggle. I don't want to send him down, but hitting .167 for the week isn't helping.
The Ugly
-My favorite player. Best player. Most expensive player. And most valuable player. 1B Joe Sierra. Out for 12 months (the dude has never been on the DL before). I guess it is better than a career ender, but shit.
Prospect Report
-1982 1st-round pick, SP Jerry Stuart had his best start ever in AA. 7.2 IP, 5 hits, 2 walks, 0 ER, 9 Ks. He will be in Triple-A after the prospect additions and possibly in the bigs by September.
Next Week
-INTERLEAGUE PLAY! Rejoice! It is back!!! Washington first draws cellar dwellers Pawtucket and slumping Pittsburgh! The games are in Washington, so no DH.Last edited by Pat; 06-18-2008, 11:40 AM.Wilmington Wildcats- 2057-
