Morgantown's player of the week was Glen Reagan... he was on a tear hitting a phenomenal .565, 5 runs scored, 5 RBI's, and 2 HR's for the week.

This week we have the Tobbs for 3 games and the Bats for 4.
That bum always had great ratings for Hartford, yet couldn't hit worth a lick. Apparently he just really wanted out of Connecticut...which I can't blame him for...but to go to Morgantown? Oh well.

As for the Whale, another 3-3 week...2-1 one series...1-2 the next. Seems to be a common theme. But after starting off so horribly (5-14 or whatever), to just be 4 games behind Maine in the WC is promising for a team with no money.

This I can't take credit for as I didn't even realize that at the time... I went with the best SP that I felt were available during the draft.

This I will take a little credit for, I had money and needed a bullpen more so than SP and Batters I felt.

HEy... your boy Day took a potential hit but still went out a pitched a good game the next day.

The whole development report is what it is. I think someone said before.... you could be teetering right on the edge of a certain rating and a tiny, tiny blip pushes you down a point... which... on a 2-8 scale seems huge.

But, if you look at what's going on behind the curtains.... like in a SP game.... the makeup of a player is all handled in far bigger numbers.... that's why the output on the field has to mean so much.

Who ever said that sounds really smart. And they probably take HGH.

Yeah, the bullpen has always been my strength since Indy joined the league, so I agree with the way Morgantown went about things. Though I'm still not happy with the instant success their enjoying.

I would'nt put much stock into any reports that SISA generates. Their scouting is crappy and their criteria is what it is. These top 100 ratings and reports are just decoration in my eyes. Sure, they give you something to stand on, but not much.

I agree. My top SP prospect went from top 70-80 to completely off the list this sim, but still has great potential ratings.

LF Steve Bing is a FA at years end. All year he has been looking for a 2-year deal, at $10.5 mill per. Then this past sim, he sends me an email saying he would love to stay in Washington, his family likes it here, blah blah blah, and his asking price is now a 7-year deal, at $16.2 mill per.

Now, it isn't uncommon for Washington to over pay for an OF...but Steve Bing, enjoy free-agency sir.

After Joe McMonies refusing to even take an offer from me actually took one from him (which I went a little lower than he wanted) and he took it. It's funny how something (possibly a winning record for once) changes his attitude.

Got three with Los Alamos and four with Baltimore this week. Get Lorral and Viz two starts each. I'm saying we win at least 4 games this week.

Glad to see good things going on in Dallas. Been a long time...

Wow, predicting a sweep of Baltimore is pretty gutsy!

Predicting any wins, when you are California, is gutsy.

Hey man, you got to feel good when you got that Vizcarra kid on the mound. I don't know where he came from, but California deserved some luck.

                                Dominated Morgantown this week.
