Nice 5-1 sim!
The boys brought out the lumber this week averaging just over 5 runs a game, led by Serma with 3 bombs and 9 RBI. The pitching was great this sim as well, allowing 2 1/2 runs a game. Dave Wilde continues to pitch well, as does Mike Hinchy.
Big sim for us going head to head with Dallas in a 4 game series next week. Not to mention initial expansion bragging rights up for grabs in a 3 game series with Mississippi.

Bragging rights?
I forfeit them to you already.
Mississippi aka the world of rating/potential drops, all the injuries you can ask for, and the worst pitching on the planet. I now realize what Andrew was saying about the task of running an expansion team is difficult. I'm pulling my hair out every sim now.

2-4 sim
The Good
-SPs Joe Chavarraga, Cristofor Villazon, and Charlie O'Rogan continue to pitch well. All three have an ERA in the 2.44-2.69 range.
-3B Brody Whiteley is now hitting .351, 2nd best in the IL. After only 2 XBHs in April, he has two doubles, a triple, and two homeruns in May.
-2B RA Grounds, SS Jack Dynes, and LF Steve Bing all come back from injuries for this next sim.
The Bad
-The Bullpen: I lead or was a tied as late as the 7th inning in three games, that the bullpen lost. Just after I was praising it recently, the bullpen was responsible for three of the four losses this week and tried really hard to blow another one (thats what she said).
-Joe Sierra had a decent week, but he is still really struggling. I can't figure it out.
-Fresh off his knee injury, ace Romano Gonzalez lasted all of 1.1 innings and gave up 7.
-I got swept by Carolina. Embarrassing.
The Ugly
-Dan Hogan: Leads the league in strikeouts. For those that don't know, he is a CF.
Prospect Watch
-SP Jerry Stuart (AA), last years 1st round pick, goes from #5 in my top 10, and I think 80th on the top prospect list, off the top prospect list for both. No negative development report. No birthday. No injury. No bad start. And my top three scouts all scouted my organization this sim, and he is rated the same. I have no explanation. After a poor first start of the year, he has now pitched six straight starts giving up 2-3 ER, and lasting at least 5 innings in each.
Next Week
Three at home against Porter's best, 27-17 Baltimore. I have a poor history against the Bulldogs, and I get to face the #1, #2 and #3 SPs. Yay! Then I get to travel to Morgantown for four games. Doesn't look like a good sim this week either.Wilmington Wildcats- 2057-
Seattle Pilots- 2017-2041

This game is retarded, there's no other way to explain it. For over 2 years, Doug Day was ranked in the Top 10 for pitching prospects. He's pitching awesome this year at AA. All of a sudden, he takes a potential drop, and is out of the Top 100. Yeah, that makes a lot of fucking sense.
Stupid fucking game.
