Jeez man, you must have the worst luck in this league. Let's hope it was just a small drop.

He dropped from 3rd to 9th in the Top 100... so.... we'll hope it's a blip.

But, yes, I do have the worst luck in the league. This team is cursed. It has a case of the GIGGAS.

Well we went from a winning percentage of 21 to a stunning 26.9.

We're on the up and up!

Quick-scouted with my two 75-rated pitching scouts. They had his potential at 4-6-7. This was just quick-scout though.

I don't have the game here... so I'll see when I get home what the "message" says. I'm sure he's been Yan Van Adel'd.

                    Question:

In the event that a pitcher gets hurt, i.e. Frank Daylln and he misses a start who pitches, the next man in rotation or someone from the bullpen?

Well, guess he's a control guy now... oh well... I wouldn't know how to react if something went right for Virginia in this league.

I believe if you have someone listed in your spot start position the game will select them to pitch.

                          3-4 this sim.

We took 2 of 3 from Maine, but they smoked us for 20 runs in the last game, just to remind us who we are.

Hansen, one of the guys subbing for Adron, is now out himself with a 2 week injury. He said he was running the bases and heard a hmmm pop...

Hiraki is the only guy that really hit this sim, so he's consistant. Fyson was strong coming off his no-hitter, picking up a win to move him to 3-1 for us. Not bad considering he wasnt in our plans until Olbera got hurt. Last years Rule V pick Dave Wilde had a great start, going 7.1 and only allowing 1 ER.

                            Thanks, didn't see that.

Is everyone getting hit this hard?
I've been pretty lucky at avoiding the injury bug. I've lost one of my MRs for 7 weeks, a backup OF for two weeks, and a minor leaguer for the season.

I just quick-scouted him with all of my guys: 4-5-7, 4-6-7, 5-6-7, 4-6-7, 5-7-7, 4-6-7. I wouldn't lose much sleep over it though. His makeup reminds me a LOT of SP Romano Gonzalez. Gonzalez is 5-5-7, with 45% groundball, 90 MPH fastball, "6" endurance, "7" hold runners, and four pitches. Magness has almost exactly those same ratings. If he becomes the pitcher that Gonzalez is, you have quite the pitcher on your hands.

Plus, if you look at Magness' numbers I'm not shocked by the drop in his "4-6-7" potential. He has always given up a fair amount of hits per inning, doesn't give up HRs or walks.

                              ***

The Bats go 0/2 against Morgantown, 1/2 against Virginia, and 2/3 against Davenport.

My two best hitters so far this season, both play catcher. And neither can play anything besides 1B, and Joe Sierra is planted there.

I'm not saying he isn't capable of being a stud the rest of the way, but I think Joe Chavarraga's steroids are no longer working. This season his ratings dropped a bit and it is showing. He is on pace to give up 193 hits, 37 HRs, and 100 Rs. His previous highs since coming to Washington are 166, 15, and 75.

You do know... movement controls the number of hits... not stuff. That's primarily how many K's a pitcher racks up.
