went to 'last sim results' first, realized keppel only played 2 games and my heart sank. thankfully, only a 2 week injury, but my offense goes down the tank without him in my lineup. 3-4, can't beat SC or Pitt. I might make it to the playoffs, but I won't go far.

The Whalers actually had a winning week going 5-2, even sweeping first place Pitt in a 2 game series.

Biggest surprise? SP Bill Waller - 3-1, 3.53, with opponents only hitting .229 off of him. This is very surprising considering he averages an ERA around 6.00 with opponents hitting better than .325 off of him. I was actually going to cut him earlier this spring, but he wasn't doing horrible.

WTF is going on with injuries? It seems like since we got rid of the CEI now we just have MORE injuries. Two more starters out. One for another month, and a RP out for 13 months! This is ridiculous. This is worse than most football teams.

Is everyone getting hit this hard?

I have my #1, #2 and #5 starters out for at least 6 weeks - one of them the entire season... plus my #3 starter missed 2 starts because of injury... so I'm going with YES... some others are getting hit hard.

Signed Noah George to a long term extension. Probably overpaid since he took the first offer, but we now have him locked up through '90 with a player option for '91.

Has anyone gotten all of the HTML loaded yet? It seems to be nearing completition but I still can't look at my minor league guys as their stats and team pages still have it as the 23.

Brian "Giant Killer" Hanranhan blew his first save against the Playboys. I hope this isn't a sign of May.

Not bad for us: swept the Bats, lost 2 close ones to Wilmington, and took 2 of 3 from philly, and no major injuries. Can't complain.

A 4 game sweep of the Bock and 2 of 3 against Batavia = 6-1. A solid 5 game lead on the division with 26 games played makes for some good feelings in Los Alamos.

My pitching is carrying the load (Tardif 2-1 2.56 and Pateshall 4-0 1.56!) and my hitting seems to be waking up.

Next up: 3 games in Virginia where we will be upset with anything less than a sweep. (So, essentially we are set up for a let down) Then we host upstart Morgantown for 3 games who may be tough after sweeping a short series from the defending champs.

It's early, but as long as we stay healthy (which may be asking a lot) things seem to be looking up.

The site is having some serious issues... is that because of the loading HTML?
Also when I am in the last sim results, and I click on the box score or game log it shows the wrong game. Is that an HTML loading issue as well?

Yeah... since the HTML is not fully loaded, the box scores aren't actually there for the game to show... so it reverts back to an older box score... I'm assuming with a similar file number?

Yah I can't get the html to load correctly. I'm guessing the slowness is causing a lot of the files to error out. I'll try it again when the site is running better.
