Nice read Linty. I actually moved Cumani up last night for the next sim. Don't think it will help anything though.

BTW Linty... don't think I missed the shot at the Nate Magness rookie card. I'm keeping a list, Son.

Wow... that kid hit .335 last season at 23 and just ended a 35 game hitting streak. I think that kid...well...man has earned a promotion.

                He'll easily reach that.

Btw... I didn't make up Norman Bins in my head did I? I went back in the history to find him... but he's not listed as ever being in the BLB.

I swore he was a hot shot middle infielder who quit after one injury while he was in his early 20's.... right?

Nope. You even got his nickname correct. Weird thing is there is no record of him in my organization anymore. Would have thought even though his career ended, his name would still be in the system. It was a rough loss as I believe I made a significant trade that included him...and in the end, I lost badly. Not to mention he was one of the reasons why we stopped career ending injuries. He was too young... and I blame him for Hartford's demise...

Wasn't he the reason the "I stubbed my toe now my career is over" thread started?

At least Hartford still has a team in the make believe world of BLB! Tickets are still available folks!

he'll move up this sim. it's been on my to-do list but i hadn't gotten to it yet. in my defense, i drafted him in 1982 and my plan was to move him up this season (at the latest, when the new draft class came in). it's not like i really need a 1st baseman or DH right now anyway, why rush things?

That's odd... he's listed at playing in 82, but you can't find him in the team's history for 82.
