Yeah, I don't know what it's like in the rest of the country, but right now in Michigan... if you're a buyer who doesn't have to sell... you're livin' large. It's amazing what you can get for your money right now. We've fallen in love with a dozen homes in the last year and, eventhough our house would sell because of all the extras we have and have done... we wouldn't get what it's worth. The Great One!
To many rings to count...

Spectre I just wanted to say that I am totally pissed at your right now.
This off-season, no one had made an offer for Ricardo Mojera... no one but me that is!
I was his favorite in contract talks with him for over three sims! Then when I was sure he would sign with me, on one of the 30 day sims... you swoop in and re-sign the guy.
Now he's 2-1 with a 2.00 ERA. 3 out of his 4 starts he's given up zero runs and he has a nice 23/6 K/BB ratio.
You are not on the list of my favorite people right about now.California Kodiaks - GM - 1982-2013

He's not going to keep this up- he was pretty mediocre last year for me but was phenomenal in 1982. Hopefully, he falls into a nice 1.30-1.35 WHIP range and I'll be happy. I guess he likes being down in the South :).

The Baltimore team pitching: 1.91 with 156 K's, 44 Walks, 5 SO through 19 games. I know its a long season ahead and we won't continue at this pace, but damn, we're nasty. Just needed some new blood around here.
Baltimore Bulldogs - BLB since '84

Its not just the pitching staff. The performance of Tandy and Nick plus the insertion of Mabbett and the Starr pickup(both my moves, not Skerik) are putting us in a winning position. 1-5 we are tough to start against and if I can get some semblance of production from the bottom of the order, I might actually be a contender. All of this with the loss of Lanbin to Cali. By the way, 65 mil of the huge budget is hinged on two people and one player who has seen 5 AB.
